What is believed to be “everything” is never really “everything”. Any combination of letters becomes an entity or “thing” due to the fact that they are addressed as being a combination. In accordance, any new combination of letters becomes an addition to the notion of what “everything” is. In the same line of thought, any new shape or combination of shapes that comes into existence also becomes an entity or “thing”, therefore also adding to the notion of what “everything” is. A combination of letters and a combination of shapes, once combined together, are given a meaning. The result of this meaning-given combination is a word. This new word then also becomes an addition to the notion of what “everything” is.

 

This book "everything" is the second part of a project called "qui li la" which has been supervised by Pierto Corraini, Jonathan Pierrini and Gerhard Glüher. With my partner Jonathan Mendel, an canadian artist and illustrator this project focused on the meaning of everything. The book is structured according to the design of an encyclopedia, a book well known to contain "everything".

The book "everything" has been featured by Collectif Blanc on Facebook and got exhibited on the Bologna children's book fair 2017 .
